Bubblegum Dance
1. bambee--bumble bee
Desirée Sparre-Enger, also known as Bambee, is a Norwegian pop singer. She uses the name Bambee as a reference to her eyes, comparable to those of the deer from Disney's animated film Bambi.
Originally, Desirée considered using the name Bambi but changed the spelling to avoid copyright issues. She is most famous for her songs which featured on Dance Dance Revolution, including Bumble Bee, and her first song Candy Girl.
Music type
Bambee's music is pure and simple pop songs. Her first album release, On Ice, established her as a baby-voiced singer with the eyes of a fallow deer. The album went straight to the sales and airplay charts in Scandinavia, followed by impressive success in the Asian, Russia, the Middle East, and the South American markets. Some media representatives drew parallels to Aqua, who dominated the international charts at the time.Bambee released her second full-length album, Fairytales, in June of 2001.

2.cream-I do, I do, I do
Creamy is Rebekka Mathew and Rannva Joensena, a bubblegum dance group from Denmark. The two girls began their music career when they were just 13 years old, singing euro-dance/euro-pop versions of children’s songs. They originally sung in Danish, and their first album ('Creamy', shown left) was had Danish titles (see below). Their seconf album, "We Got The Time" was sung in English as the girls wanted to send their music to the english speaking countries.
Creamy released a number of songs into the Dance Dance Revolution Series (DDR). I managed to find one, Never Ending Story, which was also featured on their album We Got The Time. The group, which consists of two females, is similar sounding to that of Me & My and Smile.dk. They released two albums, their first "Creamy" and second "We Got The Time." The song "Help I'm A Fish (I'm a little yellow fish)" was remade by an American group called Little Tree for the animated feature film, Help! I'm A Fish.

3.Aqua- Doctor Jones
Aqua is probably the world's most well known bubblegum dance act, and was the first to make worldwide recognition. Coming from Scandinavia, the group is made up of S?ren Rasted, Lene Nystr?m Rasted, René Dif, and Claus Norreen. Aqua is best-known for their 1997 single "Barbie Girl". They formed in 1994, and achieved huge success across the world in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Although often criticised by the media, the group managed to top the United Kingdom singles chart with their first three singles, a feat few artists have achieved. The group released two albums, Aquarium in 1997 and Aquarius in 2000, before finally splitting up in July 2001.
4.Toy-Box-E.T.
Toy-Box is a Danish bubblegum dance group consisting of vocalists Anila Mirza and Amir El-Falaki. Anila was born 8 October 1974 in Hiller?d, Denmark to a half Pakastani half Persian mother and an Indian father. Amir was born 12 August 1973 in Copenhagen, Denmark. They are most well known for their hit single Tarzan & Jane which was included on the album Fantastic. The group is also well known for its striking similarities to fellow Danish group Aqua. The similarities (which include the high-pitched female vocals and male backups and rapping and sudden appearance after Aqua's split) have led people to call Toy-Box Aqua's 'copycat.'
Toy-Box's first album, Fantastic, included the hits The Sailor Song, Best Friend, Super-Duper-Man, Teddy-Bear and Tarzan & Jane. It was released in September, 1999 and followed in 2001 by a second album, Toyride, which included fan-favourite songs Www.girl, Prince of Arabia and Wizard of Oz.

5.Chipz-Bang Bang
The members of Chipz (or "CH!PZ") met each other in 2003, at an audition for a new pop group. Even before they made it to the finals they all got along really well, and by the end of it, they were best friends and formed the bubblegum dance group Chipz. Chipz is probably one of the most recent bubblegum dance groups, and is still releasing albums and songs today.
Their videos are all of the same style: The members of the band are in exotic surroundings, and they all wear similar styles of clothing (for example, in Ch!pz in Black, they all wear black outfits). As such, they overcome a horse thief in "Cowboy", aliens who kidnapped their fellow campers in "Ch!pz in Black", a magic lamp thief in 1001 Arabian Nights, and in One, Two, Three! they fight against their evil selfs. All of this happens amidst clips of highly stylized dance moves, which inevitably defeat their enemies.

6.Cartoons-Aisy Waisy
Cartoons are a bubblegum pop/dance "technobilly" group from Denmark. They are best known for their 1999 hit single "Witch Doctor" which is a cover from the 1958 novelty song by Ross Bagdasarian.
The Cartoons are also well known for the outlandish plastic costumes and wigs that they used in live performances (such as the ones left). Many of their hits were Europop covers of old rockabilly hits.
Group members are Toonie (Vocals), Shooter (Guitar), Buzz (Bass), Sponge (Saxophone), and Puddy and Boop (Backing Vocals).
Their most notable single to date is 1999's Witch Doctor, reaching number two in the UK with its combination of the original's "ooh-ee-ooh-aah-aah" chorus, driving dance beat and occasional banjo breaks, hence the term "technobilly." They had further success in the UK with the Top 10 hit Doodah!, the top 20 hit Aisy Waisy, which was performed on Jim Davidson's Generation Game, and had a top 20 debut album, Toonage (1999).

7.Coconut Girl-Summer Boogie Nights
Coconut Girl is Paula Hagert, a bubblegum dance artist from Finland. She began her career as Coconut Girl when she was 18 years old, and released one album called "Fly Away." Coconut Girl consists of Paula, and two dancers Laura and Teresa, and her producer and song writer is James Black.
She has released one album and 3 singles (see left). Currently Paula lives in Hyvink??.
Information on Coconut Girl is quite sparse, mainly due to the fact that there was some argument as to who created her. The following are extracts of information from different sources I have found on the internet.
Information from an article
In the end of the 1990’s Kari Hynninen and Pekka Nieminen decided to try how a Finnish equivalent of Dr. Bombay or Aqua would do in the Finnish market. They found a roma girl who could sing and dance. They also found a songwriter from the girl’s circle of friends. The girl was named the “Coconut Girl” and a fictional story was developed around her. The “Coconut Girl” was born 19 years ago in Hawaii as the result of a holiday romance of a Finnish nurse and a Hawaiian DJ. The promotion photos were taken in the botanical gardens. The girl also learned some Hawaiian. The record label managed to gain the first interviews in which the girl told her story. The tabloid Seitsem?n P?iv?? (also known as Seiska) wanted to take the girl to Hawaii to meet her father. The promoter Pekka Nieminen managed to postpone the offer by claiming that the “Coconut Girl” was busy. Unfortunately the girl’s real relatives started to call the press and uncovered the ecord label’s activities. The revelation led to a scandal. Magazines were angry. “This is the difference between Finland and Sweden!” Nieminen notes. He reminds that when Dr. Bombay was introduced to the Swedish and Finnish audiences everybody understood that he was a part of the “pop cartoon”.
Background
Paula Hagert was 18 years old when she met producer and song writer James Black in Helsinki Street, Stockholm, Sweden. The producers had worked with Dr Alban and Jennifer Brown, and Paula soon got an audition. The idea for 'Coconut Girl' was that of James Black's, as he suggested Hagert looks Hawaiian. He introduced her to Niko Nordstrom, BMG Finland, and, impressed by what they heard, she was then officially signed up. She then got introduced to producers TWINS, who produced a few tracks on the album.
There has been a big dispute as to why James' name got cut out from the album, even though he discoved, created composed, and produced the Coconut Girl project.

Q-Pow! (sometimes Q Pow, or without the exclamation mark; Q-Pow) is a eurodance duo consisting of a male and female, both vocalists. Some of their songs, such as Summer Holiday and Summertime's Crazy, have a bubblegum dance sound to them, and are very catchy and fun.
Q-Pow! has released two albums: We're Only Here For The Party, and a greatist hits collection called The Greatest One. Q-Pow! is produced under the label Universal/Polygram.

10. Smile.dk-Knock Knock
SMiLE.dk is a Danish bubblegum dance group responsible for many songs that appeared on the popular Dance Dance Revolution games. The group consists of two girls, Malin Kernby and Veronica Larsson (Malin replaced Nina Boquist who left the group after the first album). Despite what the name suggests, Malin, Veronica and former member Nina are not Danish; they are all from Sweden. They marketed their album in Denmark, hence the ".dk" tag.
Veronica and Nina first formed their band as Smile and published their first album Smile in 1998. They later changed the name to Smile.dk because there was another group active with the name Smile and they wanted to avoid confusion. Several songs in their first album were included in EMI Dancemania compilations, of which one of the songs, "Butterfly", was eventually licensed by Konami into the first version of Dance Dance Revolution. Since then, Butterfly has become one of the most popular songs in Dance Dance Revolution's history. Other Smile.dk songs on Dance Dance Revolution include "Boys" from Dance Dance Revolution 2ndMIX and its remix "Boys (Euro Mix)" from Dance Dance Revolution 4thMIX, "Mr. Wonderful" and "Butterfly (Upswing mix)" from Dance Dance Revolution 3rdMIX, "Petit Love" in Dance Dance Revolution Solo 2000, "Dancing All Alone" in Dance Dance Revolution 5thMIX, and "Golden Sky" in Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA.
The single "Kissy Kissy" from their second album is also a popular track in the dance game EZ2Dancer.
The group's songs, particularly "Butterfly", are often mistaken as being by the similar artists Toy-Box and, on occasion, Aqua. Smile.dk is very popular in Japan and the girls have released most of their albums there (even though they're in English!) and have even written a song called "Domo Domo Domo" and "Tokyo", which appears as bonus tracks on the Golden Sky album. The Smile.dk single, Domo Domo Domo was inspired by Australian born, Nagoya, Japan based radio DJ Chris Glenn. The line is a catchphrase used by Glenn as a greeting to his radio shows and events. "Domo" translates as an informal "Hi".
Smile.dk's songs are mostly composed and written by Robin Rex and Robert Uhlmann, and produced by Mik Christensen.
