David Tavare was born in 1984 in Pollenca, Majorca. He is the son of legendary Spanish guitar player, his uncle is the famous English comedian Jim Tavare. His another uncle is Chris Tavare, who was the former captain of the British national cricket team.
David and was brought up on this holiday island and the closeness to the sea, the sun and the Mediterranean way of life inspired him. David had always dreamed of being a singer. And then that day when he saw Operacion Triunfo, the Spanish version of Pop Idol on TV, he knew: “This is what I want, I want to sing on a stage”. The finalist of the successful TV-Show, David Bustamante personally, was his singing teacher. David was singing his songs just for himself when he was drifting onto the open sea in his sailing boat but due to his good looks and amazing singing talent he was soon performing in front of huge audiences.
